Alec Acevedo
Student

Alec has a very strong presence in Parent Forum. He does work for our parent group on an almost daily basis, as well as help out at all of their events. He gives up his dances to work in the school store and he helps out many of the underclass kids. He is very supportive of his friends and the students of Polaris.

Scott Heckel
Parent

Scott is a huge supporter of the Polaris Parent Forum, and he can often be seen helping them out at their different events. He works hard for us doing behind-the-scenes work, like building something or fixing things that need it. In fact, Scott is responsible for the design and building of the Polaris ice sculptures that were in Fur Rondy last school year. He is a great person to have in our school community. His dedication, sense of humor and positive attitude are very appreciated.

Tamatha Ince
Staff & Parent

Tamatha is one of the most wonderful members of our school community. She is amazing with the kids and she knows everyone by name…including the parents! She can always be seen with a positive attitude and a beautiful smile. She often puts out her own money to make sure kids are fed or have the things they need. Tamatha is always doing nice things for others. She is honest and fair, well respected, reliable, and supportive. She is a great friend, an amazing cook, a true leader and she is loved by all. She puts in a ton of extra time for our school – running an after school mosaic class, helping with Pennies for Patients, advisory activities and so much more. She is definitely the heart of Polaris, and very deserving of the Polarian Award.
